1. What is the topic of your student session at the Educational Forum for Families?
3-D Printing!
2. What will attendees learn during your session?
Attendees will learn how 3-D printing is being used to make some really cool things. They will also learn how to use Tinkercad software and will design something that can be 3-D printed in my session.
3. Why should someone attend your session?
Someone should attend my session to see what 3-D printing is all about and understand it better.
4. Who is your session geared toward?
My session is geared toward anyone who is curious about 3-D printing. Anyone (all ages) can learn to do this, but this session is geared toward students grades 4-8.
5. What book are you reading now?
I just finished reading “Mindset: The Psychology of Success” by Carol Dweck. I love teaching my students about what growth mindset is and how we can each change our thinking to become growth mindset thinkers and be more successful at anything we want to learn.
